Learning Curves Course Tuition

Tour packages are designed to be as inclusive as possible. The only additional expense is transportation to and from the city of origin. Course tuition is $4,500 and includes the following:

  • Motorcycle rental (including helmet)
  • Motorcycle insurance
  • Fuel, oil, motorcycle maintenance
  • Follow-up vehicle for luggage transport
  • Hotel accommodations Wed-Saturday
  • Opening reception Wednesday evening
  • Continuing education course tuition (CRA course tuition is included for courses that include the CRA update component)
  • Course workbook materials
  • National Park admission fees
  • All group meals and beverages
  • Stimulating conversation
  • Memories that last a lifetime

Additional Passengers
A passenger may accompany you for an additional $499 fee.

Payment Terms
$1,000 deposit is required to reserve a spot with the balance of $3,500 due 45 days prior to the starting date of the course. Payment is accepted by check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

Refund Policy
Should you need to cancel, your $1,000 deposit will be refunded less a $200 administrative fee, provided your cancellation notice is provided 45 days prior to the starting date of the course. Cancellation within 45 days of the starting date of the course will result in forfeiture of the $1,000 deposit.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do I need a motorcycle license?
    Yes, you must have a motorcycle license from your resident state. We suggest first enrolling in a local Motorcycle Safety Foundation course. Call 800-446-9227 for information and schedules.
  2. Is it O.K. if I’ve never ridden a Harley?
    If you have motorcycle experience you’re likely to be comfortable on a Harley. All cycles are new models that incorporate the latest safety and comfort features. Based on several factors, including your experience, we’ll help determine which model and size fits you best.
  3. Do I need special clothing?
    We often ride through breathtaking scenery at higher elevations. We can experience very cool temperatures, even during the summer months. We suggest dressing in layers. While any type of warm jacket can suffice, we suggest the following as a minimum clothing list: leather jacket, riding gloves, leather chaps or heavy jeans, and boots. CE meeting dress code is nice casual.
  4. Do you offer suggestions for convincing spouses or significant others that I can attend?
    Absolutely. The strategy that works best is inviting him or her along! Other tactics include phony notes from psychiatrists, funerals for long lost relatives in distant states, and very expensive gifts as bribes.   5. If I bring along a passenger, are there special requirements?
    Yes. You must have experience riding a motorcycle with a passenger. As you can imagine, riding “two-up” requires advanced balance and handling skills.
  6. What type of hotel accommodations are provided?
    We provide hotel accommodations for Wednesday thru Saturday evenings. All rooms are single occupancy or double occupancy if you are bringing a passenger. We use recognized hotel properties when available, although we do use some beautiful, quaint, rustic properties in some of the smaller towns.
  7. Can I bring my own motorcycle?
    We encourage you to ride ours. However, a limited number of riders are permitted to ride their own. Please contact us for further information.
