Learning Curves Makes it Easy

Our goal is to narrow the gap between, "I have always wanted to do that" and, "I did that and it was the most fun I have ever had in my entire life!"

The feeling of freedom, the feeling that you're getting away with something should be all the reason you need to come and join us. Your new Harley Davidson V-Twin is reserved just for you. All hotels are reserved. All meals are arranged for and all routes and stops are planned out in order to make this "time of your life."

Your safety and comfort are at the top of our list. We never travel more than 1 to 1 1/4 hrs without a meal, photo or gas stop. Our Learning Curves Team is always "heads up" for your safety in every way. We have previously ridden and evaluated every scenic highway and roadway on the entire route of every ride. We know our stuff.

You are our guest. Our team (The Hammond Family) is always there to ensure that you feel like a guest in our home and you feel "just like family." Our clinicians do the same. They ride with us during the day, sharing their expertise and friendship, networking as we go, and present their world-class information in the evening.

All you need to do is go to learningcurves.net and register.

June 10-20: The Trail of the Great Bear

  • Seven national parks.
  • 3000 miles of scenic byways.
  • Bear, moose, elk, big horn sheep, mountain goats at your fingertips.
  • Glaciers, lakes and rivers around every bend of the road.
  • Great CE and new friendships for a lifetime.

This is just a taste of what our international ride from Provo, Utah, through the majestic western US and Canadian Rockies (to our turning point in Jasper, Alberta) and back will put on your plate.

Our kick-off is in Provo, Utah, and from there to famous Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for the first night. The next day takes us through the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, just in time for lunch in West Yellowstone, Montana. Heading northwest to Ennis, Montana, the fly-fishing capitol of the US, we stay on the bank of the Madison River.

Next day, we find ourselves riding our Harley's through "Big Sky Country", staying next to Flathead Lake in Big Fork, Montana. A leisure tour of Glacier National Park with plenty of time to enjoy its unique beauty before our overnight in East Glacier. Enjoy the view out your hotel window of glaciers, lakes and glacier-fed rivers.

Next day we cross the border into Canada (passport required) and we are immediately in Waterton National Park. After lunch on the road, we wind our way along the "Cowboy Trail" in southern Alberta for our stay in the unbelievable Banff National Park. An amazing journey up the Icefields Parkway (180 miles) to the 5-Star Jasper Lake Lodge is our dream ride the following day. This is where we make the turn to head back south for an early arrival at Lake Louise at the famous (or infamous) Deer Lodge.

Then, it is back across the border through southern British Columbia and into the panhandle area of Idaho, enjoying the lakeside lodge at Sand Point. South to Salmon, Idaho, and high mountain passes, alpine valleys, and beautiful ranch land gets us back across the Tetons to Jackson Hole, where we will spend our final night together.

Our Saturday morning departure from Jackson takes us back to Provo by early afternoon where you turn in your iron horse and get back on four wheels.

You are now an official "Iron Butt" Graduate and have 20 hours of CE credit!

Parting Note: Smiles for Life Ride

Our July ride through Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park is sold out. This is the ride we have designated in 2009 to be our Smiles for Life Benefit Ride with the Crown Council. We are grateful and most appreciative to member dentists of that organization who have joined with us to support Smiles for Life and the hundreds of charities around the globe that support kids.

One final note: All of our rides have a limited number of bikes available. So register now for one of our other 5 great 2009 adventures.

Bike Tip:
Insta-Mold Earplugs

"This great idea is too late for me as I lost my hearing long ago with 40+ years of high speed handpiece use. But for all of you, my son-in-law Mark (Learning Curves Safety Coordinator) found this great custom-fit hearing protection product. You may be able to make your own with some silicone crown and bridge impression material, but these guys have the procedure nailed down to do the job you need. Check them out at http://www.earinc.com/.

"Ride Safe and don't worry about the smile on your face. It will go away a few hours after the ride!" —Roy
